Sending reports by e-mail from DeltaMaster
E-Briefing
E-mail is the modern version of the mail chute. Even within a company, taking a detour through the Internet is often the fastest way to inform your boss and colleagues. And with DeltaMaster, it's now the most beautiful way as well.
Once you start using DeltaMaster's elegant new report formats, you will probably have a hard time holding back your enthusiasm. After all, you already could create, send and communicate reports as PDF, Word, Excel and PowerPoint files or in our standard DeltaMaster format. Plus, ReportServer can even do the work for you automatically - in regular time intervals or driven by events or data.

A report from DeltaMaster in Microsoft Outlook
DeltaMaster, however, has recently added a new option. With a simple right mouse click, you can automatically e-mail any report from your choice of Microsoft Outlook (if available) or our own built-in e-mail client.
Since this new feature is very tempting, we would like to pass on one small warning. When you receive information by e-mail, you can almost guarantee high attention levels. Why? Gathering information yourself (i. e. pull) is always more strenuous than getting it served (i. e. push). As a result, there is a very good chance that your report will be read very quickly. It's almost like a love letter. If you use the right words, your message will come over clearly. DeltaMaster guarantees the right format. Just make sure that you chose the right data.
For executives, a very popular option is a revenue report that is automatically run when new revenues or contracts are generated. Once again, ReportServer ensures the proper logic. And since you can send HTML reports to mobile phones with Internet access, you can easily support colleagues who travel regularly or simply can't get good news fast enough.
And as the sender of such good tidings, that's good for you, too.
