Where? Where from? Where to? Whereabouts? If you don't know exactly where you are, a map can be a great help. The same is also true for the data in your OLAP models - at least if you think that there is a connection between different regions and your values. In that case, the Geo Analysis feature in DeltaMaster shows you where and how much. And with a double click you can drill down straight from your map into the underlying data to get a clear, compact view of the details.

Geographical presentations make it easy to understand how a certain measure is broken down in a given region. Where is your company generating revenues? In which regions is your business booming? Where is it stagnating? Where was performance according to plan ... and where wasn't it? And so on.

The Geo Analysis method in DeltaMaster identifies these relationships by projecting your data on an electronic map. Besides maps of the world, Europe or a single country, you could also use an industry-specific system such as IMS RPM/Landscape in the pharmaceutical industry. You can even customize the map to reflect your organizational structures. That way, for example, you can show which regions fall under the responsibility of a certain service center.

If you are interested in topography, you can zoom in on the maps. Much more interesting, however, is the drill-down feature. With a simple double click, you automatically delve into the next lower level and switch into the desired district. The map view will automatically adjust its focus.

Is there something new up north? With a mere double click you can drill down on the desired region and examine the situation in more detail. The view doesn't just get larger. You also get more information because the drill down generates a more detailed report.

Thanks to the threaded analysis capabilities in DeltaMaster, you can even embark on an in-depth analysis of the selected region. Here you can run a further geographical analysis, a concentration analysis or portfolio analysis, data mining techniques or any of the other built-in analytical methods that DeltaMaster offers.
