SparkTicker Olé!

Spain has won the race for the first SparkTicker for stock market data. Strictly speaking, the race for 2nd place, but who's counting? Viva Espana!

To get the word out about Edward Tufte's fascinating concept of sparklines, we have been running stock market data with word graphics on all our websites for some time now.

We're big fans of the concept; after all, it reflects some of our own ideas.

Three Spanish websites have now been inspired by our showcase: our Spanish sales partner Kuvet and the Business Intelligence portals is-portal.com and MundoBI are now also displaying share prices, updated on a daily basis, using our SparkTicker technology.

Instead of just showing the latest, current share price, the miniaturized course we've placed in front of the price gives you a quick overview of the share's history.

You'll also find the "tiny ingenious graphics", as one of our users at Bayer HealthCare refers to them, in all cockpits and reports you create using DeltaMaster.

Here you can add a time history to company data, such as turnover or cost positions, and as a result, place each date in its correct context, ensuring density of information.
