Bissantz as a business intelligence solution for all data sources.
The controlling department at frischli opted for Bissantz for its BI project in order to create a standardized business intelligence solution in all company divisions. The main data source at frischli is SAP with the modules SD, MM and PP. This data was easy to access thanks to Bissantz ERP Solutions: Bissantz taps into the SAP modules via the connector Theobald Xtract IS and automates the extraction, transformation and loading of the data collected in Microsoft SQL Server. The DeltaMaster Application Server, which hosts the DeltaMaster applications for the front-end, retrieves all the information for reporting from this data collection.
In addition to SAP, the Bissantz consulting team integrated further data sources from different areas of the company, such as industry-specific controlling software. Data from systems for time recording, payroll accounting and e-procurement were also added. With this data architecture, frischli was able to replace individual Excel lists for the evaluation of data from different systems and create a standardized reporting system – with DeltaMaster as the „single source of truth“.
