Power BI itself does not offer a full-fledged planning function for multi-level processes. With Bissantz’s Power BI planning solution, budgets, forecasts, and scenarios can be entered directly in Power BI without leaving the interface. Alternatively, and also in parallel, planners can use DeltaMaster to enter data via a browser or Windows client.
Power BI’s native write-back feature is limited to simple, one-dimensional entries. Bissantz’s planning engine, on the other hand, supports multidimensional entries, workflow control, scenarios, and cell comments.
For Power BI, Bissantz supports, among other things, revenue, sales, and pricing planning; budget and investment planning; as well as cost and cost center planning—each as either a bottom-up or top-down process.
