Unmittelbar nach dem Programm­start empfängt Sie DeltaMaster mit dem Dashboard. Es dient dem kom­­for­tablen Einstieg in alle An­wendungen: Hier wählen Sie aus, mit welcher An­wendung Sie in DeltaMaster arbeiten möchten. KPI-Kacheln prä­­sentieren eine wichtige Kennzahl (KPI) aus der verknüpften An­wen­dung. Damit liefern sie ein unmiss­­­verständ­liches Signal, welche An­wendung Sie mit Prio­rität be­­trach­ten sol­lten, schon bevor die An­wendung geöffnet wurde.

In diesem Abschnitt stellen wir die Arbeits­oberfläche von DeltaMaster im Präsen­tationsmodus vor und zeigen, was das Be­sondere an Grafischen Tabellen ist. In DeltaMaster sind Grafische Tabellen das wich­­tigste Berichts­format: In die Zellen von Pivot­­tabellen lassen sich gra­fische Ele­mente ein­betten, zum Bei­spiel Balken, Säulen und Spark­lines. Diese Elemente verdeutlichen die Wert­ver­hält­nisse und lenken den Blick des Lesers.

Die Analysemethode Zoomen vergrößert Sparklines in Grafischen Tabellen. Dabei werden nicht einfach die Sparkline-Säulen oder -Linien größer gezeichnet; vielmehr nutzt DeltaMaster den freien Bild­schirm­platz, der beim Zoomen ebenfalls vergrößert wird, um zusätzliche Infor­mationen anzuzeigen.

After starting DeltaMaster, you will see the Dashboard. It provides you easy access to all applications you want to work with.

In this lesson, we introduce the user interface of DeltaMaster, in Presentation Mode, and we will show you what makes Graphical Tables special. They are the most important format for reports in DeltaMaster. You can display Graphical elements such as bars, columns and Sparklines in the cells of Pivot Tables to clarify the correlation between the values and direct the reader’s gaze.

The Zoom analysis method enlarges Sparklines in Graphical Tables. Columns and lines won’t only be drawn larger, but DeltaMaster uses free screen space to display additional information.

The Hyper Browser is one of the most fascinating functions. DeltaMaster plots the analytic models by projecting Dimensions, Hierarchies, Layers and Elements in a star shape on an imaginary ball.

Navigating tells you how a value is distributed among elements of another Dimension. Use the function Drill-down to add additional columns or rows to a Graphical Table step by step.
